Business Introduction
Begun as a means of reducing waste in landfills, the Environmental Business Division has grown into an enterprise specializing in environmental protection. The division has initiated various projects ranging from domestic, industrial and construction waste processing, recycling, energy generation, domestic sewage and industrial wastewater purification and reuse based on our continuous advancements in waste management technology
In the past five years, we have expanded the scope of our environmental business to include recycling, crushing and incineration of domestic, commercial and construction waste. Our eco-friendly ethos is also highlighted by our technological advances in sewage and grey water purification and reuse.
The growth of our environmental division is not only based upon design, construction and operations; our dedication to meet the multifaceted needs of our clients is reinforced by our integrated operation’s commitment towards safety and environmental protection.
We plan to vertically integrate our environmental businesses through the transformation of the industry value chain by continually expanding throughout Korea. Our goal is to be the leading environmental company that addresses climate change beyond the scope of the four R’s (Reduce, Recycle, Reuse, Recovery)
Incineration
Incineration can reduce waste volume by 95~99% and waste weight by 80~85% compared to burying it in the ground. In addition, it is economical due to the fact that it could recover heat energy. Therefore, the proportion of waste management through incineration is expected to increase gradually.
YIDO is currently operating an intermediate waste disposal company (incineration), and we carry out a legitimate and legal incineration process of general and designated wastes
collected.
In addition, YIDO operates as an environmental friendly business by providing electricity that is produced through heat recovery from the incineration process and steam to those businesses that need steam and other services.
Recycling
It includes the recovery process and re-use process after the waste has undergone a certain process and used as raw material. This refers to the process in which the material is not disposed after use and inserting it into the material circulation system.
YIDO not only provides consistent service and expertise in operating various facilities ranging from intermediate recycling, final recycling to comprehensive recycling facilities, but also services from the waste
supply process to the disposal of products.

Utility
Appropriate temperature, pressure, power and etc. should be obtained when processing or manufacturing raw materials.
Generally, utilities required in businesses, factories, plant facilities are components such as water (industrial water, soft water, pure water), compressed air, Purge N2 gas, steam (high pressure, medium pressure and low pressure); and there are various ways to supply this according to the sources of demand.
In any case the facilities shutdown, the
utilities should take into account the respective inter-relationship when building the system, since it might cause production or safety issue. We analyze the facilities of the demand source and provide stable services by independently investing, installing and operating the necessary utilities in order to increase cost competitiveness of the demand source.
